Because of the on trail water situation we decided to end our day an hour or two earily and deture to a real campsight, named Klum Landing. The campsight features running water, toilets, showers, picnic table, fire pit, and extremely ftat and smooth ground. We used all these facilities.

Yesterday we discovered that we brought the wrong type of gas cannisters, so we expected cold dinners for the next few nights. Lucky us, with the fire pit, we had wonderful hot dinners.

We did about 15 miles today-not a lot by my standard from last year. In fact we are getting past by lots of PCTers. Ken warned us that the next two days would be tough. He was right, not because of the trails, but just that our bodies are not tuned up yet.

Still its great fun being here and doing this. We are having a wonderful time.
