So today is our first real zero day. This morning I tried to sleep in, but my blatter got me up before 7:00 am. I walked back to the camp HQ to do laundery and shower. Ken joined me, while Wes slept. Ken and I finnished showering and laundery just as Wes showed up. We went to the buffet for an all-you-can-eat breakfest.

We had to get another campsight and it turned out that the PCTers who got the last site lastnight now had more room because a bunch of PCTer left and hiked on. So we are sharing with them.

Its been a lazy day. Pretty much just sitting around waiting for laundery to finnish and our various batteries to charge. Its nice to be off my feet. Even though I have no blisters, my feet are really sore.

We got our resupply box. We have a bigger challenge ahead than I knew about. We have about 80 miles to the next resupply, but tomorrow we have to hike 26 miles without on trail water. That wouldn't be so bad either, but to start this section we have to carry both a large amount of water and food, which means a really heavy pack. Oh well, this is the kind of thing I signed up for.
