Another wonderful day on the PCT. This was supposed a serious hiking day as we want to get to the next resupply station in three more nights. Wes knee is hurting him a lot. He found a stick, and carved it up. I think that is helping him. Ken is finding his stride and has clearly taken over the lead. As for me, I am doing okay, but I lack the spunk and energy that I remember from last year.

At the end of the day, me and Wes were dragging, but we committed to doing a final 3 miles to finish with a 20 plus day. After about a mile, Wes and Ken found a great campsite. It has an amazing view, something that we don't get too often. Also it has nice soft flat places to lay down, plenty of firewood, and rocks to build a fire ring. Finally, the best part is that it is on a cliff the overloks the valley below. We couldn't resist. We decided to trade 2 miles for a great campsite, the best one so far on this trip.
